NEW ADS: Fairness for Iowa targets Nunn on tariffs raising prices for retirees in seven-figure ad campaign

“Congressman Zach Nunn promised to bring down costs, but he’s voted to support the tariffs that are raising prices”

Fairness for Iowa launched new ads in their seven-figure multimedia ad campaign calling out Congressman Zach Nunn for supporting tariffs that are raising prices for working Iowa families. The new ads feature Peter R., a retired Iowan in Des Moines, who has felt the impact of rising costs. They also highlight that Congressman Nunn has voted and shown support for tariffs this year, and even said “Tariffs are winning” while Iowans back home have struggled to make ends meet.  He also voted for the Republican Tax Law, stripping health care away from thousands of Iowans, and refused to lower health care costs, putting further stress on working families’ budgets.

The ads are live on broadcast TV, digital, and streaming platforms in the Des Moines market—highlighting how Nunn’s votes are raising prices for Iowans at a time when many are already struggling to make ends meet.

You can watch the TV ad here and digital ads here.

TV ad script:

When you retire, living paycheck to paycheck, you’re monitoring the prices on a daily basis.

And tariffs are making just about everything more expensive.

$19 a six pack. How does anybody afford this stuff?

“Tariffs are winning”

No, this isn’t winning. We need to tell Zach Nunn to stop voting for higher prices. Stop supporting the tariffs.
